Hi Everyone. I want to change the tyres on my xedi. it has 15inch alloys with 195 80x15 tyres that look very skinny. I think i can get away with 215 75x15 without any mods, and would welcome any recomendations you have.
Will it be o.k. to keep the spare as a 195 80x15 as it has good tread, and could i use it in an emergency just to drive a short distance if i have to? Thanks, Phil.

Wwoohhhooo fitted my new tyres today after wondering if they would fit or not. Have now got 205/80/r16 with no spacers and they dont even rub on full lock. Given me an extra 2 and a bit inches more height now. Just need to beef up the sump guard and lift her.

Getting there slowly.

Hi All,

I am new to the Club / Forum.

I have a 2002 Td4 S/W - Fitted with the Mantec Sump & Fuel Tank Guards - Is there an alternative to fitting an Exhaust Guard - I.E. An alternative Exhaust System that does not have the vunerable Tail Box - My FL is at around 129,000 Miles (Had it from new) still will the original Exhaust System and I anticipate the System will require replacement in the near future - It appears that the Mantec & Bearmach Exhaust Guards actually reduce Ground ...

Hello from the States to what seems an august group of authentic Freelanders!

My 2003 SE (I think it's a 2.5) 53,000 miles, is scaring the crap out of me. The auxiliary fan has been running like mad after shutoff lately and I haven't seen the temperature gauge anywhere above the midway point, but I have been losing coolant slowly.

Last night I saw the gauge spike into red and then bounce back down, only to go back to red again. It was a short trip and the car didn't act abnormally, ...
