def hard wearing tyre, all terrain prob best, muds can give the clutch a hard time as you get a lot more grip with them, traction control relies on wheel spin to work, if you follow?, get bigger than standard? give the car a lift kit at same time

Thanks, i was thinking about bfg all terrains as i do mainly road miles but would like to start greenlaning. regarding the lift kit, im currently watching peanutlandrovers on ebay but im just worried that if i fit it my insurance might go through the roof as im only 23 and its not cheap atm. Ive just won the 16 inch wheels and they have 215 65 16 with decent tyres so i'll sell my 17 inch wheels with 4 decent tyres if anyone's interested? Wink

Ask your insurance company, I have declared all my mods and insurance is still less than £200. try Lancaster insurance or sure term.

I was with Lancaster with my 1989 90 and it was £350 a year, changed to Freelander 1999 and it went to £650 a year. They said it wasn't a classic so price is higher.
Had to do a multi car policy with wifes car with Admiral, will be changing next year to a 4x4 off road policy again when she is sorted for green laning Very Happy
