T16 turbo into a freelander
Has anyone ever done this would like as much info, advice and opinion etc as poss wanting to mod engine to 350+bhp.

Which of teh engines do you think you can get 350+ out of ? my guess would be the V6 but not sure if the drive train would take anywhere near that kind of power! Especially the torque. Love to hear how you get on.

The t16 is the engine from the rover 220gti, 620ti and 820 vitesse there capable of over 800+bhp but thats mega money once fiddled with they can be made ultra reliable. What are the gearbox's used on the 1.8 and the 2.5 and what are they like. What i'd really like to do is make an english version of the gmc typhoon.
