Is there any off road spec suspension available for the freelander 1's?
Or just replacing the old shocks with new LR standard shocks will make the difference?
I have a 1999 2.0ltr diesel and the suspension on the front is all yellow?

I've got standard springs and shocks, but the bermach 2" lift was well doing!

I'd like to get her green laning Smile
So I need to get a few things like new suspension, some under body protection, CB etc!

Is it worth green laning my freelander when she hasn't got HDC?

hdc is not compulsory, very rarely needed and will be going too fast with that engaged if over rocks? its good if the hill is quite steep tho

horribly stuck indeed.
i laned without mods apart from a set of All terrains and it went most places if you were sensible. just be prepared for the noises it makes, does put you on edge the first time you off road it but you get used to it!!
