I have run my XEDi now for 3 years with only the CAT as any silencing, it has also gone through 3 MOTs without it with the same comment from 2 different MOT testers.......Its not an MOT fail as the exhaust system is not defective, but you might get pulled if the old bill think its noisy, and my clunky old pre TD4 is not too noisy as I've never been pulled!!!! Cool
